In most cases after a stump is removed the chips are usually left behind. This is good usable material that can be repurposed on your property. Most of our customers tend to keep this material for other uses. However, if you would like the stump debris removed from your property Hoffman Stump Grinding would be happy to take care of this for you as well. Chip/mulch material will be removed and left level full from the work site(s) and disposed of at a certified organic recycling facility.

Our preferred stump removal equipment is supplied by Vermeer Corp. out of Pella, Iowa. The primary stump removal machine we use is the Vermeer model SC60TX. Which is a remote controlled, rubber track mounted, high production, high horse power machine that can handle any size stump in a backyard all the way to a land clearing project.
What about those limited access stump removals?
No problem, our next machine available to us is the Vermeer model SC30TX. This machine is nimble, half the horse power of the SC60TX, can go most anywhere and it is also mounted on rubber tracks
There’s extremely limited access to my stump removal project. Can you do it still?
Yes, there’s a good chance that I can still get it removed for you. How you ask? Well that last piece of stump removal equipment is a Laski handle bar grinder. This machine is very compact, it only measures 27” across. This stump machine is typically not carried on a daily basis. Please advise us ahead of time or schedule an appointment for us to take a look at the specific work area.
Our last piece of equipment is a Vermeer S725TX rubber track mounted mini skid steer. This piece of equipment measures 36” wide and can access a gate. This machine is use for moving debris out of the way during large stump removals as well as loading chips or materials into our dump truck for disposal.
